We are thrilled to announce we have teamed up with KING Kids for our upcoming 2019 Everybody Equal Campaign.
The campaign will support KING Kids in providing financial help to youth from low-income families to gain access to after school sports programs and physical education programs in schools.
“Everybody Equal” is about eliminating barriers and providing everybody an equal opportunity to build a happier and healthier lifestyle.
"Playing sports was not easy growing up. Our parents did not have the luxury to sign us up for travel sports or be part of an extracurricular sports program. It shouldn't be this way. This is why we are extremely excited to work with KING Kids" and help get all kids into programming regardless of their socio-economic standings. (Tae Kim, Cofounder and CEO at Epiqueline)
KING Kids, a 501 (c) 3, was formed from the social enterprise Kids in the Game. Kids in the Game is rooted in schools across New York City providing schools with recess, PE, and after-school programs as well as communities with competitive sports teams, sport clinics, and summer camps.
As Kids in the Game continued to grow, the leadership team recognized the inequity in quality opportunities among kids growing up in different city neighborhoods. KING Kids was formed to address this issue, particularly in access to opportunity to quality programs and space.
Stay tuned for any upcoming events benefiting KING Kids.
